The Truth (VSP)

Personally, video star has been such a good app for me to help my growth in editing. However, if u do not have time, motivation or a strong passion to want to upgrade and go to new levels with editing, do not get video star. Going into vs u have to want to try and try again because this app is very confusing on ur first steps of working it. It can make u want to give up but u have to be tough to keep going and continuously work harder to learn more. The more u learn the easier it gets and the higher, better quality ur edits become. Video Star overall is a good app!! It’s an access for people who may not have abilities to own a computer for ae. I believe ae and vs r super common and similar in apps. Video star is super fun once u get the full hang of everything. It is a journey but it’s worth it depending on how much hard work u put in.

AMAZING APP

ok so I make edits on video star, I love the app, I think the amount of options are AMAZING and the things you can do with it are so cool but I was wondering if you would be able to make more text options? If your wondering what I mean here’s an explanation, I have been editing with your app for 3 years and I can never make cool edits with text because there isn’t many text options, apps like after effects have really cool text options like “bouncy text” and I know you can use key frames to make your own text but most of the time it doesn’t come out that smooth unless you spend 2 hours on it which I’m pretty sure not many people want to do, plus like I stated before it takes awhile to do. So maybe you could put like an option for different text animations and effects if that makes sense? Another thing is (I saw a review about this) when I do an overlay and when we mask the black bit so it’s transparent and press create when we go back to multi-layer and import the overlay again the black is still there, so if there’s anyway you could fix that then that would be AMAZING. Anyways I love your app and keep doing what your doing 💖x

Thanks for your suggestions. In regards to the overlay, to replace the black try using a blend mode.

I LOVE THIS APP but...

so hi videostar i really like your app and everything is just so amazing. i really love how it is. but there is just three things that maybe you can change. so, 1st thing i want you to add is so there can be a feature where you canopy overlays and take the black out of it so it can be see through but not the actual overlay part, i know you can do masking but i can get it to make all the black disappear, there is another way you can do it, blend bg but when i do it everything is see through, i really want you to change the masking so it’s easier to use. 2nd thing i want you to change is to make pngs 3d jsut like you can make text 3d so you can make even more cool transitions. 3rd thing i want you to change is the turbulence, personally videostar turbulence isn’t smooth and is really pointy, for example after effects turbulence is really nice and round and very smooth so i really want you to make videostar turbuelnce like that, if you can upgrade these things then i would be soooooo happy but if you can’t i truly understand, thank you. angie.
