The best place to find food trucks
Where The Truck is definitely the best place to find food trucks. Before this app I used to check the Twitter accounts for half a dozen different trucks to find out if they were nearby… this is so much easier and faster! Just open the app, and a moment later you see every food truck that’s nearby. The range of trucks is very comprehensive; every food truck that I know about is listed.
The app got a few bad ratings when it started crashing after iOS 8 was released, but it has been recently updated and it’s now working perfectly for me. Now I can return to eating tacos!
So much potential...
I love the food truck phenomenon that struck in the last couple years and this app is pretty helpful most of the time but has just missed the mark. What about some background on the people operating the trucks, do they support any charities (as some do), what is their food story? Even more important, what about a menu? Pretty sure I know what Mr. Burger sells but some of the others have really interesting menus that aren't necessarily apparent from the name.
Good app could be better with a little more info.
Simple, national, gives truck schedules for a few days so you can plan.
Pinch zoom would help these older eyes, but layout makes it easier to read.
I was always complaining that no trucks came to the west suburbs - now I know they come and I know when and where - BONUS!!
