Australian electro-pop trio Mansionair arrived in 2014 with their ambient single “Hold Me Down,” which garnered more than 1 million streams in just two months. ∙ Some of their earliest fans included Scottish synth-pop outfit CHVRCHES, who invited the trio to open their 2015 headlining tour across the US, the UK, and Europe. ∙ The video for their 2016 breakout single, “Easier,” has been viewed more than 25 million times and was prominently featured in an episode of the legal drama How to Get Away with Murder. ∙ Mansionair guested on ODESZA’s Gold-certified 2017 hit, “Line of Sight,” which was nominated for a Best Dance Recording Grammy Award. ∙ The pulsing synth, vocoder vocal hooks, and organic piano atmospherics of their 2017 single “Astronaut (Something About Your Love)” earned the band their first solo hit. ∙ After a half-dozen successful stand-alone singles, they released their self-recorded debut LP, Shadowboxer, in 2019.
