MC Magic is a legendary bilingual rapper and singer who’s known for his “Latino hip-hop ballads”. • Born in Mexico, MC Magic moved to Phoenix with his family when he was five. He learned how to use a drum machine when he was 13 and later began working as a DJ. • He launched the label Nastyboy Records in 1990 and released his debut album, Don't Worry, in 1995. • His major breakthrough came with the release of his 2006 sophomore album, Magic City, which hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums chart. • Two years later, he returned with Magic City Part II, featuring Too $hort, Baby Bash and more. • In the years since, MC Magic has released two more albums—2011’s The Rewire and 2014’s Million Dollar Mexican—and gotten into selling products like makeup kits and bluetooth speakers.
