About Pantaleimon

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In 1999 I recorded my debut album 'Trees Hold Time' at Christoph Heemanns studio in Aachen, Germany. I had been gifted an Appalachian dulcimer and Christoph loved my improvised pieces so much that we made an album. Released on vinyl by Streamline. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Can, Tago Mago (2011 Remastered) David Bowie, Hunky Dory (2015 Remaster) Kate Bush, The Kick Inside These three albums created a shift in my brain cells when I was young. They laid the foundation for my love of music and my understanding of what it is to be an artist and to follow your muse, not the trends. To be true to your vision. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Ember” I love all of 'The Butterfly Ate The Pearl' album which I produced with Hugo Race (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds). But this track 'Ember' with Jay Darlington from Kula Shaker on Mellotron , Moog and Hammond is one of my favs. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing at Patti Smith's Meltdown at The Royal Festival Hall, London Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Finish and release the next project by the end of this year 2023. Play live with a full band the entirety of 'The Butterfly Ate The Pearl'. And I'd love to collaborate with Anton Newcombe from The Brian Jonestown Massacre.
