About Stic.man

One-half of the revolutionary rap duo Dead Prez, Stic.man does it all: rapping, producing, publishing books, and practicing the martial arts. Besides the critically heralded albums he's recorded as a member of Dead Prez, the Florida native released two books -- The Art of Emcee-ing and Warrior Names from Afrika -- in 2005 and collaborated with the Outlawz's Young Noble on the 2006 effort Soldier 2 Soldier. A year later he released his debut solo album, Manhood. Stic.man also founded the politically charged magazine Ammo and runs the Atlanta-based Boss Up Inc., which sells music, clothing, and books that advocate both social activism and a vegetarian lifestyle. ~ David Jeffries
