In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a kid we always had a upright piano in the house, my first memory of music would be the classical pieces my dad used to play from composers like Chopin, Debussy & Beethoven. The first albums I bought were soundtracks by the likes of John Williams. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Aretha Franklin, Amazing Grace: The Complete Recordings (Live) Miles Davis, Kind of Blue Muddy Waters, The Real Folk Blues The roots of music is the Blues but not as a genre, as a feeling, that of authenticity, JS Bach had the Blues! Gospel, Jazz and Blues all came out of the African American Spirituals. And that's why I have chosen these albums - the foundations. Tell us why you chose this song. “Something Special” Well I suppose you can't get more special than this one, it's all in the name! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I became a session musician in Hong Kong, playing for all the pop stars there, both in the studio and live in concert. I put the Blues Harp into Canto-Pop and my harmonica sound can be found on so many HK album releases. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yep loads, watch out for my new band the Will Tang Clan, will be stirring up a magic brew of sound to serve up to you all.
