I cried
I cried for an hour after the last chapter. A beautiful story, of a simpler time indeed - childhood.
A Simpler Time
What a fantastic compulsory text this would be for all High School students to study! I laughed so hard & often cried but it certainly took me back to the foundations of family and hard work that built this beautiful country of ours and made Australia what it is today. As a parent, Peter's mother inspired me to be a better person, to appreciate what I have and most of all to see the good in every person we encounter. There is something for everyone in this book. It is beautifully written and an absolute delight to pick up at the end of a long day! Keep up the great work Fitzy :-)
