Description

When you're as big and rough as Jack Reacher - and you have a badly set, freshly busted nose - it isn't easy to hitch a ride. At last, he's picked up by three strangers - two men and a woman.

Within minutes it becomes clear they're all lying about everything - and there's a police roadblock ahead. There has been an incident, and the cops are looking for the bad guys ...

Will they get through because the three are innocent? Or because the three are now four? Is Reacher just a decoy?
'He could take out Bond, Dirty Harry, Jason Bourne andEthan Hunt with both hands tied behind his back. And then sleep with their girlfriends two at a time before getting the last bus out of town' Sun

Publishers Weekly Review

30 July 2012 – Bestseller Child’s surprise-filled 17th Jack Reacher novel (after 2011’s The Affair) takes the ex-military policeman on a wild road ride that builds to a terrific slam-bang climax. While hitchhiking one winter night in Nebraska with a broken nose that makes him look more than usually disreputable, Reacher is picked up by two men and a woman wearing identical cheap blue shirts. The fun begins when clues suggest that the men in the car are responsible for the brutal murder of another man at an abandoned pump station. The role of the woman in the car remains unclear. Sheriff Victor Goodman is quick to call the FBI, which arrives in the person of Julia Sorenson, only the first of many agencies and agents heard from. While the erratic trip through America’s heartland doesn’t always follow a logical path, Reacher displays his acuity, patience, endurance, and military skills in the exhilarating fashion series fans have come to expect.

A Wanted Man

Fantastic..Lee Child and Jack Reacher yet again are on fire..I didn't want this book to end,and as alway's can't wait for another.Bring it on Lee.

Not his best book

I guess after 17 books about one character it gets hard to write consistently great storylines. This book seemed a bit like a filler story. I would usually devour his new books in 1 night but this one took me 5 days to read as it wasn't a story 'that I couldn't put down'.

Don't get me wrong I love jack reacher and will always buy his books, but I hope the next one actually does deal with the lady in Virginia, and that it at least 550 pages not the 390 in this current book, and that it has a bit more excitement to it, and a few characters from his past to help him out.

A Wanted Man

Very good read, though would have liked a bit more 'action', a Reacher fan through and through
