A Woman Transported
What a great read! Hard to put down!
Terrific strong characters and compelling storyline.
Historical Fiction set in the 1800's in England and Australia, about a woman transported to the colonies for a first offense crime, and the ongoing and far reaching consequences of her sentence to her family left behind to manage without her. A nice blending of fact and fiction brings this story to life.
A must read for Historical Fiction lovers and those interested in the treatment of the women prisoners in our colonial times.
