Brilliant read. The author has successfully been able to answer many of the questions relating to diet and health that has puzzled me over the years. His dedication to investigating and deciphering the trial studies in his book is staggering to say the least. Well done!
Honest, frank and bitterly hard to swallow!
I could NOT put this book down, though I must confess to initially skipping the detailed chapters on sugar and fat metabolism - however they're on the list for tonight! I only hope I can stay awake.... Such a concise reconciliation of all the facts and references, and so devastating to all of us who are currently on a diet or exercising to lose weight. I wish it had been released two years ago when I started. Well worth it.
This should be compulsory reading for everyone....
David's books are challenging, interesting, well researched, downright scary and simply logical. If you care about the health of your family, friends or yourself, read this book. It may well save your life.
