On the surface, Giselle Duzido could be called many things.
Sassy, determined and breathtakingly beautiful.
But one thing that would never come to tongue, is broken and fragile; because she’s learned to keep that part of herself locked up tight. The veneer she chooses you to see - has it all. Her designer brand is on the rise from her original base in Sydney, to two more stores in Los Angeles and New York; a part of a world she has always fit into seamlessly.
Career-wise? She’s flourishing. Social status? Almost famous!
But scratch just beneath her surface and there it is, eating away at her insides. But at some point, doesn't Sel deserve to have the happily ever after?
She may look just like another twenty-something woman, searching for that earth-shattering love…
But it's all just a camouflage.
I was fortunate enough to be able to read Camouflage before its release date, so I am very excited to give an honest review.
Camouflage is a stand alone novel. However we have met the main character Giselle before in Kathleen's Cut series. No doubt you will already love her.
I was completely drawn in from the prologue. We get a glimpse of what Giselle has been through in the past and it is horrific. I was scared.
Fast forward 5 years and we see Giselle, while running from her past is making her way into the the fashion industry as the very talented designer of the brand "Made."
I couldn't put this book down, especially once we meet Draz, Mr Muscle. (Fans of Kathleen will already know him as well) Total BBF material!!
I love Giselle and Draz's feisty relationship. You can seriously feel the sexual tension oozing out of the pages.
Giselle is cool, funny, sarcastic and confident and so likeable, I completely love her. She has her demons and without giving anything away, she has to face them... or him... or she will be running forever and deep down, always scared.
I got totally caught up in this unpredictable story and I would highly recommend it. Keep them coming Kathleen.
