Four Aussies in Seattle
As an unseen enemy takes aim
Four must stand as one for Justice to survive.
A man branded by his past
Seth Justice is tall, daring and dangerous. The former street kid from Sydney owns a thriving technology company in Seattle. But he has bigger goals―or should that be ghosts?―that drive him harder. On the verge of selling his business for a fortune, he’s celebrating when Harper Fox, daughter of the buyer, tumbles into his arms. The curvy café owner enchants him with her sassy personality. Soon they move from easy banter to a night of passion that reveals a sweet vulnerability in the soft-hearted woman.
A woman determined to control her future
After a lifetime of her domineering father’s scorn and rejection, Harper dances to her own beat. She has her café and surrounds herself with a chosen family of her eccentric staff and close friends. While she’s mostly content… her heart aches for more. But Harper has been burned before and doesn’t trust easily. That is, until a man with a panty-melting Aussie accent and a commanding stare entices her to take a chance—on him. When Seth takes charge in the bedroom and ties her control in knots, he awakens a need in Harper that leaves her hungry for more.
A new beginning worth fighting for
When an unseen enemy attacks the new life Seth and his brothers have built, the ensuing disaster tests not only his developing relationship with Harper, but also threatens to sever the last remaining bonds with his brothers. As Seth struggles to protect everything and everyone he loves, he has to determine if Harper is his enemy’s target—or accomplice.
Ok, review will be vague at times to avoid even a hint of spoilers.
I LOVED this book, it had all the 'feels' I enjoy - funny, intrigue, strong independent woman, confident guy (who can also be a real softy), SEXY, fun supporting characters. Highly recommended reading
Cannot Wait For Book 2
5 Star Review of Craving Justice (Sons of Sydney #1) by Fiona Archer
This is book one in the exciting new series, Sons of Sydney by Australian author Fiona Archer. This is the story of Seth Justice and Harper Fox.
Seth is one of four brothers (not by blood, but by choice) rescued from the streets of Sydney and adopted and whisked away as teenagers to live in Seattle by Aurora Justice and her son Dillon.
Having just done the deal of his life, to sell his company, Seth meets and falls for the daughter of the man he is selling his company too. However, all is not as it seems. Just when he finally has success within his grasp, an unknown enemy, not only to himself, but his brothers and Harper, threatens to tear it all away.
This book will not disappoint. There is some light BDSM, throw in amazing characters and I firmly believe that Ms. Archer has a winning series on her hands. I don’t want to give too much away, but there is intrigue, romance, hot Aussie Alpha males, a heroine who I love and enough twists and turns to keep you guessing until the end.
Craving Justice is extremely well written, the characters draw you in and Ms. Archer makes you feel as though you are a part of the story. Add in the fact that there is confusion in the translation of some Australian terms (not for me as I am an Aussie) but I totally get it. When I was in the USA, I actually wanted someone to write me a list so I could translate what they were talking about and I know my friends wanted the same from me, so I could certainly relate to the banter between Seth and Harper at times. It had me laughing out loud at times.
I loved all the brothers, and the secondary characters of Nitro, Ryan, Jinx, Cleo and Abby were also great. I hope we get to know more about them as the series continues.
I so cannot wait for the next book in the series.
Fantastic start to this new series!
Craving Justice is a thrilling, suspense novel bursting with mystery, betrayal, some sassy banter and a large serving of hope. This passionately written story shows that the family your born into, doesn’t necessarily define the person you become.
Powerful world building with a gripping storyline that keeps the reader engaged throughout, and strong, charismatic characters with a myriad of personalities combine to make this an edge of your seat, exciting read.
And while the schedule of events evokes deep emotion, distrust and sometimes even heartache; the occasional quirky, light-hearted dialogue also provides many opportunities to smile and occasionally laugh out load.
Having previously read Ms Archer’s King’s Bluff, Wyoming series and absolutely loved it, I can honestly say that Craving Justice has exceeded my expectations and is by far this author’s best work to date.
