A comprehensive introduction places insects in the context of other living things, and an extensive catalog showcases the amazing variety of earth’s most abundant—and often bizarre—animals. From butterflies and moths to dragonflies and grasshoppers, from beetles and bees to ants and earwigs, hundreds of individual specimens are profiled in incredible detail, each accompanied by clear, concise text and key data.

Conceived from the ground up to take advantage of this amazing new technology, DK Natural History: Insects brings the subject to life like never before, and offers an amazing range of interactive features, including:
• Audio

• Interactive galleries

• Over 80 interactive and illustrated pages
• A comprehensive introduction explaining how insects fit into the natural world, which also explains their anatomy and life cycles
• Illustrated profiles of nearly 300 animals

Sample crashes iBooks

The sample of this publication crashes my iBooks app and does not allow any recovery. I must delete iBooks app and re- install from iTunes. No idea if it is the file or iBooks itself but either way not a good start.

Great books, caution must download and install ibooks2first

Very easy to learn about the subject, great format well worth it.

Paused in Library and won

I bought both Insects and Dinosaurs two days ago. Both of them have the word Paused overlaid on them and are stuck in the library and will not play at all. How can I get my money back? If you buy a book and it is broken you can take it back to the shop and get a refund or a replacement. Where is the responsibility to the customer when the iBook doesn't work. I've been on to forums and tried finding answers. Other people seem to have the same problem, but there is no solution I can see anywhere online. Feeling very frustrated and disappointed.
