Publisher Description
Savannah is tired of the dating scene, even though she wants to get married and have a family. She knows her mother will never move on with her own life as long as Savannah is single. Savannah goes to see a matchmaker, specializing in setting up couples who meet at the altar. At first, she thinks Scott is a dream come true, but his blundering soon makes her crazy.
Scott, a Montana bison rancher, doesn't have time to find a wife. His work is all-encompassing. Besides, he tends to have a hard time getting women to go out with him more than once. When he runs into a matchmaker he's known all his life, he tells her about the problems he's had to see if she can help him. When he meets Savannah at the altar, his heart stops for a moment. She's exactly what he's looking for. Will their diverse backgrounds keep them apart? Or will they be able to work through their differences to make their marriage a loving relationship?

Loved this book, I went to amazon and bought the second book in the series
Wow. No.
Doesn’t want her to get a licence because of the freedom it will give her. Her job is caring for him and their house. These are the thoughts he shares. He’s just awful for a modern day character and the book is ridiculous. It might work as a historical.

This is really a 0 star rating. Normally I’d never give 0 for a rating, I do applaud appreciate the creative art of writing stories. This was an intriguing idea to have a matchmaker find a perfect partner, however, the characters are not well developed and too often slid right off the pages with far fetched out of character behaviour and even more implausible speech. Could have been a great story.
Next, and more important perhaps, the editing it non existent, so many spelling mistakes, one of which talks of bumping into people you know ‘at the laundry mat’, really? ‘Laundromat‘ would have smoothed that over. Some grammatical errors made me cringe.
I still think this could have been a lovely quick read on rainy day, or even a holiday weekend read. I hope the author keeps going, the ideas and characters are tantalisingly hiding in there, I’d give another try, although only once more.
