This book can be downloaded and read in Apple Books on your Mac or iOS device.

Description

An inspiring, upbeat, beautiful and affirming handbook to help women find their natural confidence and learn how to love themselves.
Are you ready to activate your dream life?

You know that sneaky voice inside your head telling you that you're not good enough, smart enough, skinny enough, whatever enough? That's your Mean Girl. And she's doing her best to keep you stuck in Fear Town, too scared to go after the life you always imagined.

But enough's enough! Melissa Ambrosini has made a life beyond her wildest dreams, all by mastering her Mean Girl, busting through limiting beliefs and karate-chopping through the fears that held her hostage for years. And now she wants to help you remember not only what you are capable of, but how amazing you truly are!

In this inspiring, upbeat guide, Melissa provides a practical plan for creating your own version of a kick-ass life - one that's wildly wealthy, fabulously healthy and bursting with love. Designed to propel you out of stuck-ness and into action, it's a must-read if you are ready to stop being held back by your Mean Girl and start living the life of your dreams.

'Melissa is a wonderful example of someone who is absolutely real - who can speak from the heart and is brave enough to draw upon and openly share her own personal experiences to prove that self-belief is the modern woman's most valuable practice.' Lorna Jane Clarkson, Lorna Jane founder

'Mastering Your Mean Girl is a beautiful read to help transform the way you speak to yourself. If you struggle with mastering your inner critic, let big-hearted Melissa guide you towards enhancing your relationship with your lovely self.' Dr Libby Weaver, nutritional biochemist, author and speaker

From Publishers Weekly

11 January 2016 – Health and life coach Ambrosini will charm some readers and push others away with this guide to silencing one's inner critic, the titular "Mean Girl," and making life choices out of love instead of fear. Tactics to "flex your self-love muscle" include scheduling relaxation time, meditating, and using self-affirmations. Ambrosini encourages developing a healthy relationship with food, independent of the Mean Girl's (and society's) judgments, an admirable pursuit even if the food philosophy she outlines is a bit severe. Career advice focuses on finding and articulating a passion and rethinking limiting beliefs about money. Her thoughts on interpersonal relationships include avoiding the "expectation hangover" and "comparisonitis" in favor of genuine friendships with appropriate boundaries. Perhaps Ambrosini's wisest words concern getting over past wrongs, especially self-perpetuated ones. Throughout the book, exercises called "Inspo-actions" provide space for readers to reflect on managing expectations for themselves and others, expressing gratitude, and recognizing self-sabotage. For readers who would like to leave your "penthouse in Fear Town" for a "mansion in Love City," Ambrosini is here to help. Those who cringe at phrases like those (not to mention "be your own bestie," "soul sisters," and "goddess night") should seek help elsewhere.

Thank you Melissa x

This is a book I keep going back to, and each time I do I end up discovering something new. It’s a must read for women. I am a single woman in my 30s and it can be really easy to have negative self talk creep in, this book has made me realize that I deserve the great things that I have, and that I should be on my own side. That I’m going on the journey I’m meant to! Thank you Melissa x

Are you ready to live your best life?

Seriously?? Then you are on the right track. I was in a dark place, stumbling through life’s hurdles and drowning in my own creation. I found Melissa’s podcast and one thing led to another. I put into practise wisdoms from her books, read books from visionaries interviewed on her podcasts and I changed my life. I have found love where there was fear, I found joy in my sons Autism, I found amazing friends and I found the real me. What have you got to lose?
