New Geography for Australian Schools

This Geography text book is designed for Year 8 students in lower secondary or middle school. It conforms to the new National Curriculum of Australia and emphasizes the two main strands - Knowledge and Understanding; Inquiry and Skills.

While introducing a range of interesting learning experiences and popular topics, many activities focus on inquiry learning and field work using both traditional techniques and modern technology. Many of the learning opportunities embrace 21st Century learning practices where there is a high emphasis on team and collaborative learning.
