I enjoy Karin Slaughters books, however I found this one quite graphic and a little bit too much for me to be honest. I'd worked out the plot early on and the graphic nature and suspense just got too much for me and I skipped ahead to the last chapter.
Definitely not for the faint hearted!!!
Scary as hell
So weirdly, this is one of the last books I’ve read of Slaughters, but by far the most scary to read. As always the tale is artfully crafted with twists and turns every page, truly an amazing writer. I think this is one of my favourites in the strangest way, horrifying! N.Penny
Was hopeful
I was hopeful after reading all the reviews but found this very long winded. The plot was interesting (at times disturbing) but I found myself scanning to get through a lot of stretched out dialogue, context. Wasn’t a fan unfortunately.
