So so good.
This is a story relativeley closely based on the author’s family history, however, it is a journey that takes reader from war torn Germany to Australia. The chapters just flow amazingly, the hardships the famaily incurred, the faith that kept them going, the love that held them together, the struggle all part of this memorable read. The sequel continues in the same form set in Australia & reminds me of my youth. Another brilliant read & an author I will be closely following in the future.
