The book of Deacon series
Fantastic I have not been so obsessed with a story since I first opened The Magician rift war saga. I am not a book worm by any stretch of the imagination but this series of books has caused many sleepless nights. I have one major problem now I have finished the first two books I only have one left. I desperately won't to start reading the last book but I want to prolong the story for as long as I can. The author has drawn me in to the story so much that I am always thinking about the books it is an obsession. Thank you for the books BUT PLEASE write some more in a similar style. In my opinion u rank with Trudy Canavan and Raymond E Fiest on equal footing. Once again thank you so much for the books
The first book showed great potential, it was very hard to put down. This second book was not nearly as good!
I found myself loosing concentration as the language changed into an overly descriptive and strained language, as if the author tried to drag each scenario across as many pages as possible to meet the quota.
Halfway through the book the story took a direction which left you without two of the characters you actually cared about. This left a big hole which the remaining characters failed to fill.
The "surprise" ending left me with a certain taste in my mouth.
Cash$$$ was the inspiration, not an authors desire to continue what could have been a great tale.
Beautifully written with amazing landscapes and characters. Extraordinary concept. Completely captured my attention from the first line in the first book and is brilliantly followed by this book. Looking forward to book 3.
