2015: Madison, Wisconsin. Cop Monica Jansson is exploring the burned-out home of a reclusive (some said mad, others dangerous) scientist when she finds a curious gadget - a box containing some wiring, a three-way switch and a...potato. The long earth
Enjoyed this but hate endings that leave you hanging
Brilliant concept, poorly executed
The concept behind this book is truly mind splittingly gemius.
However I found the story to be mundane and and by the numbers and I had to force myself to finish it.
Quite a decent read
I enjoyed the story although the implementation was lacking
