Alright action flick. 3/5 C-

When Summit Entertainment first announced that Tyler Perry would be the star of the reboot of the popular book turned to film franchise, fans were confused as to why Tyler Perry would be the star of the movie, for many reasons scheduling conflicts, his resume of mainly comedies and the how he lucked out an beat many other promising actors to the role. The film struggles in writing the adaption is poorly done as the story is great but the execution of it on the big screen is not. Tyler Perry gives an okay perfomance but Mathew Fox is the real stand out as he gives the best performance of his career. The camera work changes half way through the film and the action varies from scene to scene feeling a little rushes but alll in all if you are a Tyler Perry fan than you won't be dissapointed and if you are a fan of the book series or thrillers in general than this is one film you won't want to miss. 3/5 C-

Absolute rubbish. $5.99 barely worth it for Matthew Fox.

I enjoy Patterson the author but as a film maker this is a dud.
