About the Movie

In a sleepy beach community, shoppers at an underground supermarket are terrorised by a crazed bandit when the unimaginable occurs: A monstrous freak tsunami swallows the town. Now trapped, with rushing water threatening to entomb them in a watery grave the survivors discover they are not alone. The tsunami has brought unwanted visitors from the depths. Not only must they overcome the threat of drowning and the predator within their midst, but a threat far more deadly and far more bloodthirsty - hungry great white sharks.

High Hopes Dashed

I really wanted to like this film as it's an Aussie-made one plus I like killer shark movies but alas it fell short. Yes there is gore and a couple of frights (albeit predictable ones) but the acting was terrible. A familiar cast with odd accents. One minute they're Aussies the next American. Perhaps the American accents was to appeal to a US audience but an Aussie made-film with an Aussie cast should speak with an Australian accent. Due to this the acting seemed forced in places which really annoyed me. If you can look past this then you'll probably enjoy the film but I'm just glad I rented it and didn't buy.

Popcorn type movie

This movie is awesome...trying to put a different spin onto a shark movie is great; still predicable and funny!!!
