About the Movie

Two ex-cons kidnap the daughter of a rich business man to make a mint on the ransom. Their seemingly foolproof plan begins to unravel as it becomes clear that their hostage, Alice Creed (Gemma Arterton – Prince of Persia), isn't going to let her captors use her as capital without a fight. Determined to escape, Alice enters into a battle of wills against her kidnappers and as the deadline for the exchange draws nearer, all three are brought close to breaking point in a desperate struggle for survival.

It's not bad

Not a bad thriller movie to watch.

Great Twists and Turns you never see coming.

Loved this movie. The plot unlike so many others can't be predicted. I wondered how anyone could make an interesting movie set inside one room with only three characters - now I know. It's all about great writing. As psychological thrillers go this is one of the best. Forget million dollar action sequences, this is just fantastic suspense and intrigue and you'll be on the edge of your seat waiting for the resolution.

The Disappearance of Alice Creed-WOW! A movie full of Twists and Turns!

What a wonderful, entertaining hour and a half of quality movie viewing! I am glad I rented this movie, it was money well spent. From the opening scenes right through to the very final scenes this movie had my full attention, I loved the regular twists yet this was not overdone. The cast were well selected, the acting was excellent; and even though the movie did not have a huge amount of varied visual settings, the ones used were appropriate and interesting. Because the movie was so well paced and engaging I wasn't really aware of the well created yet limited sets. I recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys Thrillers and Suspense.
