An uplifting feel good Australian movie for the whole family, Footy Legends is a film about hope, family, friendship and having a go, even when the odds are against you. Set in the suburbs, Footy Legends tells the story of Luc Vu (Anh Do), a young man obsessed with football. Luc is out of work and when welfare authorities threaten to take his little sister away, he reunites his old high school football team in the hope of winning a competition that could change their lives. With an all-star Australian cast including AFI and Logie Award winner Claudia Karvan, Logie Award winner Peter Phelps and Angus Sampson. Featuring special appearances from Matthew Johns, Andrew Voss and Mario Fenech from The Footy Show along with football legends Brett Kenny, Bradley Clyde, Cliff Lyons and more.
