About the Movie
Chloe and Alice made friends when they met on university exchange years ago. Reunited in San Francisco, they are two girls with a plan: move their newly-formed marketing company to Silicon Valley, schmooze some start-up execs, get contracts to do their marketing, make millions. It's a great plan. But it doesn't take long before the two girls fall into their old patterns: Alice flakes on the work, and Chloe finds herself doing the heavy lifting to get their company off the ground. And of course, both women find themselves in the same behaviour they developed at uni: couch-surfing, drinking all night, sleeping all day and falling for inappropriate men. As tensions mount, Chloe and Alice are on the fast-track to discover exactly what their friendship is really made of. Based on true events, Frisky is an honest, tongue-in-cheek look at what it is to be a woman in the limbo years between college and "the real world".
Surprising and laugh-out-loud enjoyable
This film surprised me with how much more was there than meets the eyes... you go in for a good laugh and emerge moved by the depth of relationships and how authentic the exploration of what it means to be a 20-something woman trying to figure it all out is. Frisky is delightful, hilarious, and will linger with you long after your first watch!
An Indie worth your watch
A tale of an Australian girl trying to start over in San Francisco after the end of 5 year relationship. Funny and poignant, it's like a French film meets Annie Hall, Frisky is an indie feature worth your watch.
Fresh Humour with Frisky
Given it was made for $5k, its pretty amazing. Connected with the humour and some of those AWK moments when you are trying to be soooo cool in your 20's. Cool.
