About the Movie

Oh Boy, I don't know what they were thinking!
This is NOT a good movie, So I live in Australia and I thought I was lucky enough to get this film first at the cinema, I wish I wasn't that exited, First of all this movie was going to be a disaster the day it was revealed, the trailer was the only interesting thing about this whole movie. I honestly went into the theater with high expectations thinking maybe it will save the franchise and make it what is used to be, Buuuuutttt... No, no it didn't, I watched it with my 8yr old brother today, (he wanted to come with me because he LOVES Ice Age), but this film made him SO angry with it's terrible plot and unfunny jokes that he wanted to leave half way into the film because he was bored, tired and very annoyed by it. The films plot is just HORRIBLE!, there is NO plot, it's a film with scenes that are all scrambled up like a salad, some animation scenes are INCOMPLETE!, none of the characters are interesting unlike in Ice age 1,2 and 3 where than had a personality, Ice Age 4 is also a bad movie for me, but compared to this one it's a damn masterpiece! The script is like it was written by a child and some of the lines are so poorly voice acted it feels like I'm watching Smosh on YouTube, the film has no heartfelt moments, has no interesting twists to it and over all a bad film. I give this film a 2.5/10, 20%-25% and a 1.5 star. Don't waste you're money, just go buy the first 3 films, you probably won't be disappointed like you will with this one, if my 8yr old brother doesn't like it, I'm sure you're child won't aswell, the Franchise is dead and it's time to bury it 20th Century Fox, it's only a waste of budget money that could fund something much better than this.
This is the best movie I've ever watched
Collision Course with the Garbage Pile
I try not to go into films dreading the outcome, but for this one I was. The same jokes are played out from the last 4 movies, scrat is still trying to find and keep hold of an acorn and the rest are just bumbling along being either grumpy, depressed creepy or just plain weird. Aside from Simon Pegg, the actors don’t sound like they’re enjoying themselves and their lack of enthusiams makes the dialogue sound boring and really bad in places.
The animation hasn’t really evolved or improved that much and compared to the other animated films that have come out this year such as Kung Fu Panda 3, Secret Life of Pets, Zootopia, Kubo and the Two Strings and Finding Dory you have a much better selection of choice to view over this film. I would like Dreamworks dump this franchise and make something new and exciting and I hope that this is the last one.
