About the Movie

Golden Globe-nominees Meg Ryan ("Sleepless In Seattle," "When Harry Met Sally. . .") and Dennis Quaid ("In Good Company," "The Day After Tomorrow"), and Emmy-winner Martin Short (TV's "Merlin," "Mars Attacks!") star in this sci-fi comedy fantasy directed by Joe Dante ("Looney Tunes: Back In Action," "Gremlins" 1 & 2). A rambunctious Navy test pilot (Quaid) undergoes a top-secret miniaturization experiment and is accidentally injected into the body of a hypochondriac clerk (Short). Siskel & Ebert praised "two thumbs up for this ambitious science-fiction comedy. . . Dennis Quaid is charming and Martin Short is terrific." "One of the year's top 10 movies" (Time Magazine) "Hilarious! . . .for non-stop inventiveness, 'Innerspace' is hard to beat!" (Newsweek). Produced by Academy Award, Emmy and Golden Globe-winner Steven Spielberg ("Munich," "War of the Worlds"). Received an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.

Customer Reviews

First class funny movie!

This is truly one of the best sci-fi movies of the 80's. Dennis Quaid is fantastic, Martin Short is hilarious and Meg Ryan is gorgeous. It won the academy award for best visual effects long before CGI was the norm. The 'innerspace' scenes look fantastic as a result. It has a brilliant soundtrack based around the wonderful 50s - 60s artist Sam Cooke while Jerry Goldsmith's score is second to none. The director, Joe Dante is a genius. Highly recommended if you like sci-fi comedy. Apple have also finally got it right in terms of price. If more films were of this quality at this price, sales would be ten-fold.

Paid for but doesn't download

I might have only paid $7.99 for this but that's a lot to pay for nothing but a bucket-load of frustration. I paid for this and have been trying to download onto my ipad [the same way i've done countless times before] and nothing. i've checked all settings both on the ipad and with the wifi including space on the ipad and everything is as it should be. I'd love to have a monopoly wtih billions of dollars coming in and no accountability to my customers. great work itunes, you've made me regret the switch to apple products.
