About the Movie

Seasoned performer, Magic Mike has what every red-blooded guy wants - a ripped bod, sexy girls, hot parties and loads of cash. Now he's about to take on an inexperienced young protege - teaching him the ropes on how to be the best. As Mike keeps the magic flowing in the clubs, he has to fight for the one girl he really cares for. But will he have to choose between his fantasy world and his dream relationship? Directed by Steven Soderbergh, this scorching film is based on Channing Tatum's real-life before he made it in Hollywood- where he was a 19 year old stripper who worked all day...and worked it all night.

Customer Reviews

not my thing.

the movie made for perverted women and closet gays

Wow

This isn't just stripping and Tatum obsession at play. Fun and interesting movie that touches on relationships, drugs and the party / club culture.

couldn'tbehappier

I agree with nothappyjanny; there was actual substance to the movie, not just a movie made purely for the sexuality.
I have to disagree with Airi3s: mainly because it displays a double standard. Any movie with lots of beautiful half naked women in it, is an average film, and barely outside the norm. So why is it that when men get half naked and dance around, women are perverted if they want to see it? Men wanting to see naked women is deemed as "normal", but god forbid if a woman wants to express desire and sexuality.
Overall, the movie was pretty fantastic, not what I was expecting.
