About the Movie
He never let his father win the backyard games of cricket. He damaged his first coach’s ribs without realizing it. There were signs very early in the life of Richie McCaw that this very ordinary kid might have more determination than most. Richie had no idea of the immense success that his extraordinary drive and his All Black dream would lead to. His story is testament to the rewards of hard work, passion, single-minded determination and his life-long philosophy of leaving nothing in the tank – ever. This intimate documentary follows Richie’s final 365 days leading the All Blacks, as the most capped rugby player of all time attempts to pull-off his most ambitious goal yet – to end his career by becoming the first person to captain back-to-back World Cup wins. With surprising openness the film dives into the mind of this élite sportsman, who has spent the later part of his career perfecting the mental strength needed to perform so expertly in the face of extraordinary pressure. We witness the world of high performance sport through the eyes of this legendary player, who still sees himself as an “ordinary guy” from small town New Zealand.
Want to be an all black
Want to be a great all black
I just wrote G.A.B at the bottom
Michael Hooper is a better Flanker than Richie McCaw
An All Black.... blah, blah, blah
Seriously, he is a Rugby dude - snore, snore and snore.
1 of, it not the greatest #7 of all time
As an Aussie, I've no issues with saying this. The other reviews Ive read, please. How many games for the mighty "All Blacks" have you guys played. I'm goin with zero. It's not even a sport I totally follow, but I know and I've seen how good this bloke is. His record speaks for itself. Haters gona hate. This bloke could change the outcome of any game.
Chur Ritchie, wish u were one of us. #freak #matchwinner
