About the Movie

Academy Award, Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winner Jane Fonda ("Monster-in-Law," "On Golden Pond") portrays a glamorous ex-film star seeking to control the financial empire founded by her late husband, in the wake of his murder. Golden Globe-winner Kris Kristofferson (the "Blade" trilogy, "The Jacket") joins her as a financial troubleshooter trying to salvage the bank that funded the company's operations. They become lovers, and travel together to Saudi Arabia to secure a loan and guarantee her spot as the company's board chairman. However, they uncover an Arab company's plot to withdraw money from the world's banks in order to destabilize the Western economy. A contemporary romantic and political suspense thriller not to be missed! Also starring Academy Award and Golden Globe-nominee Hume Cronyn ("The Pelican Brief"), Emmy Award-nominee Martha Plimpton ("The Goonies") and Bob Gunton ("The Shawshank Redemption"). Directed by Academy Award and Golden Globe-nominee Alan Pakula ("All the President's Men").

Customer Reviews

From an economic perspective I find this movie a real treat. It’s not filled with your run of the mill action but it does hold your interest. Jane Fonda is great as is Kris Kristofferson.
If your liked Margin Call, Wall Street and Wolf of Wall Street. then you will like this movie too.
