About the Movie

Novice screenwriter Marty (Farrell) has come down with a bad case of writers block and is struggling to find inspiration for his new script Seven Psychopaths. All he needs is a little focus and inspiration. Billy (Rockwell) is Marty's best friend, an unemployed actor and part-time dog thief, who wants to help Marty by any means necessary. Hans (Walken) is Billy's partner in crime. Charlie (Harrelson) is the psychopathic gangster whose beloved dog Billy and Hans have just stolen. Charlie is unpredictable, extremely violent and wouldn't think twice about killing anyone and anything associated with the theft. Marty is going to get all the focus and inspiration he needs, just as long as he lives to tell the tale.

Customer Reviews

Robbed at the Oscars

Outstanding, 5 stars.

This movie should have at least had a couple of nominations at the 2013 Oscars. Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken for a start. Also for best screenplay. This is one of the better movies I've seen, with outstanding performances from all involved. Those who didn't like it, probably didn't get it.

Not to expectations

I watched this with two other people - one refused to watch after 3/4 hour - the other person and I waited to see whether it would move on to a punch line or something - we gave it away after 1hour and 15mins - spend your money on a Maccas - better value

Waste of time and money

With a great cast this was looking to be a great movie.
Stopped watching after 40 minutes as was unbearable, unnecessary brutal and bland.
Not sure why this is in the "Comedy" category. Not sure if it turns into a great movie in the remaining hour.
