About the Movie

Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world. Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, the live-action feature film "The Last Airbender" is the opening chapter in Aang's struggle to survive.

worst recreation of an animated series!

i'm sorry but i loved the animated series and some how, this movie killed the feeling and mood that was meant to be displayed! Aang is too serious, they leave crutial plot lines out, even the way they pronounce names is all off! I realise it would be difficult to fit a whole series into a movie time length, but it just wasn't the same...

Apart from the fact that the series was great and the movie would never be able to capture the same feel, the actual movie was terrible.

The cast didn't sell the characters, the dialogue was terrible and the storyline was just terrible. I was looking forward to this film before I went to see it. Now I can say, it was worse than Dragonball: Evolution

The tv series is so much better than this movie! The whole story made no sense because one time here then all of a sudden he was somewhere else. It seemed like there was too much pieces of the tv series it was missing therefore the movie seemed all over the place. I recommend the tv series it's so much better!
