Correction of Apple
The "former classical music prodigy who is now playing his 'violin'" in fact plays the cello.
The Soliist Great
We loved this movie and at times, felt like we were actually in the scene Some all too true realities make this a little harder to watch than we expected But such an insight into the world of mental health, street life and the projections we have, was so beautiful.
Violin / cello
Actually, Apple is correct. He is discovered playing a violin in the street, and only later is reintroduced to the cello. The realism of the film is incredibly powerful, and the fact that there is no attempt at a hollywood happy-ever-after ending, but a realistic resolution, makes the film all the more convincing.
