Starting as a one-man band featuring Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl, the Foo Fighters would eventually expand to a full fledged 5-piece band. Deeply indebted to the sound of his previous band, Grohl is also a lover and collector of music. His band's inspirations range from punk mainstays Black Flag and Flipper, big pop acts like Abba, to new wave legends Talking Heads.
