Customer Reviews

It's so excellent

This is the first podcast review I have ever written. But Another Round is so good I was moved to put thoughts to…um… screen? ANYWAY. It's so brilliant to listen to black women having a "safe space" to just LET IT ALL OUT (as they said on "Oh, the Racism!"). They're obviously both very intelligent and funny women; they have critical and important and hilarious things to contribute. But the relief of it is just hearing their voices, that finally we're HEARING their critical and important and hilarious things to contribute. When black female voices have so criminally been excluded from cultural debate/thought/scholarship/comedy/everything, it is a real revelation and a milestone just to hear these women. talking. on. the. radio. Which is crazy! As I think Alex Linsky said on the Longform podcast, we've all finally realised that radio hosts can be something other than white upper middle class Jewish guys in their thirties!! It's so great! I recommend it to everyone, especially white dudes.

Love it

Funny and entertaining whilst being informative ! Keep up the amazing work :)

These ladies are charismatic, genuine, and have so much to offer. I love their humor, and their H. Clinton interview was en pointe. I learn a lot from these women, and you will too.
