Customer Reviews

This is a great brewcast. Some have complained that it can be long but time flys when your having fun! You need to listen to a couple of them but soon you grow very attached to the commentators, which is what the catch is here, they are very personable, fun and yeh they know about beer. This is a US centric, even west coast centric brewcast but Hey lets face it, that is the cutting edge of craft beer at the moment - I'm Australian and find it really interesting, though it breeds much jealousy. This is not another boring review of beers which some podcast have become, where we listen to others drink and talk about a specific beer. Lots and lots of information on brewing spread through out converstions and some brilliant brewers interviewed. My hint is to go through the archive and pick out a couple of subjects that are of interest and the most current and download. Keep listening to the most current and work through the archives. You will love it and soon you'll be in the army too! Must say congratulations to Justin for getting this rolling, he's done a great job - my brewing has improved out of sight - though I do now spend a huge amount of time thinking about beer, been having some very strange dreams lately....

Brewing with fun

This is a great podcast, can be a bit long sometimes but there is always good information in amongst the fun and profanity. Highly recommended

I love listening to the brewing network. Its informative, funny and has dramaticly improved both my brewing and my passion for making great beer. I am working my way through the archives and really enjoy listening as well as picking up a ton of usefull information along the way. I have listened to a few other brewing podcasts and while they had some usefull information were too dry and boring to really and want to keep listening to just for enjoyment. As others have noted the session is more of a talk show about brewing with the information spread out. I recomend listening to Brew Strong, another brewing network show, first as that one gets strait to the point about techniques. I've just purchased a kegging system and I am planning my move from extract to all grain, something I probably never would have done had I not found these programs.
