In the year 2017 alone, 139 people were exonerated for crimes they did not commit - some had even been sentenced to death. Many others were sentenced to forever.

Our mission is to share the stories of the Exonerated through their own voices empowering the individual Exoneree while also educating and compelling our listeners to help end this type of injustice. Only a flawed system convicts innocent people, but together we can correct those flaws and create a true system of justice.

Xman-125 ,

good podcast.

Very entertaining.
Some people complain about bias ... she is quite open about that. The problem is when people pretend to be fair handed, and are biased.
Would have given 5 stars, but for a comment about ‘ women getting negative comments’. The truth is, people say far , far worse things about men, constantly all the time, with no recrimination. Any school kid growing up now, will quite possible never hear a good thing about men and boys, literally ever, nor a single word of encouragement about being a boy.
Other than that comment, I love it.

So moving!!!

I was moved almost to tears numerous times while listening to this. Brooke’s history as a social worker made her the perfect host for this, looking at the case from all angles, with Rachel’s input complimenting her work. While I don’t think Richard received a fair trial, I just couldn’t see how things could have happened as he claimed. However Brooke’s theory in the final episode made perfect sense. Well done to all involved!
