Dan Carlin's Hardcore History

In "Hardcore History" journalist and broadcaster Dan Carlin takes his "Martian", unorthodox way of thinking and applies it to the past. Was Alexander the Great as bad a person as Adolf Hitler? What would Apaches with modern weapons be like? Will our modern civilization ever fall like civilizations from past eras? This isn't academic history (and Carlin isn't a historian) but the podcast's unique blend of high drama, masterful narration and Twilight Zone-style twists has entertained millions of listeners.

Don't judge a book by it's other podcast

If you like Dan's other show, Common Sense, you might like this. If you hate common Sense, you'll love this. There's a whole bunch less yelling. :P This one quickly worked its way up to become one of my favourite podcasts. Interest is not sacrificed for historical accuracy or vica versa. Definately worth a listen.

Dan Carlin, what can I say, mate you are a gun. If you like me, like history, then this podcast will turn you into a history lover. This is my favourite podcast. You have to listen to this!!!

Best podcast of its kind !!!

I just love Dan's Hardcore History podcast. I devoured almost all the episodes over a week and I think it is simply the best podcast of its kind on the web ! I also love the soundscape/soundtrack that go with the podcasts as it just adds to the overall experience and I'm also learning a lot too. Keep up the good work !
