Delicious ... Delightful... Divine
A charming and quiet interlude in otherwise frantically busy days.
These stories encourage your breath to slow, your mind to calm and your heart to lament how as a society, as families and people we have lost our appreciation for simple, lovely pleasures and lives in our headlong rush to ‘keep up’ and ‘not miss out’. To fill our lives and homes with ‘stuff’.
Our aspiration should be to become more human and more like these two wonderfully charming and creative women who share their lives, recipes, reading suggestions and gardening tips so generously.
Love..... Love.... Love
Oh Gillian & Annabelle, you are just wonderful. I devour your episodes with gusto, hanging on every story, sound & tidbit you give me. It’s so refreshing to have something so wonderful, unique & best of all, Australian to listen to. Thank you!
My new favourite podcast
Dear Annie & Gillian,
I’m so happy I decided to listen to Dispatch To A Friend. It was on my must-listen-to mental list and I’m so pleased I did. I literally gorged myself on your wonderful stories.
I put in my headphones around 9pm Friday night and by morning I’d listened to most of season one. By mid afternoon Saturday it’d consumed the lot. So so satisfied. But I’m desperately left wanting more.
One of my favourites was the blow-by-blow account of the damaged wedding cake and missing cake stand. I stood standing under a tree in an unexpected hail storm walking my baby as I imagined a hot Swedish day with you protecting a cake from the hot sun with an umbrella. How I wished I’d had one. Oh, the irony!
I’d just like to say well done on creating this beautiful podcast. I just love the music too. It’s such a gift to us all and I look forward to the delight of listening to many more episodes.
Mind how you go.
