Irish History at its best!

This is a great little history podcast. Full of Vikings, Barbarians and the little quirks of Irish history. For someone such as myself who loves to listen to, and read history, this is a great introduction into the history of Ireland. The episodes are about 30mins long, perfect for the morning commute on the bus, train, or car.
The only disappointment is the time between each episodes release. It is great, highly recommend it.
If you like the podcasts on "the History of Rome", "Russian Rulers", or the "History of the American Revolution" then you are sure to love this well produced history podcast.

A complementary History

These are great listening to and very informative. I recently got hold of the two volumes of 'A Popular History Of Ireland" published in the mid 1800's by Thomas D'Arcy McGee ( An interesting author in his own right with his Canadian oratory and support for Confederation).
I have enjoyed reading this and listening to Finn descriptions of the period with his archaeological background is fantastic.
I recommend these podcast and encourage Finn to continue this work as best he can.

Compelling History.

Thank you Fin , this is what is needed to reach back and bring to the presant , the Irish story. This is a podcast that will light up a lost corner of Western European History , and put a face to the people who gave us the rich legacy that is Irish History.
