The Partially Examined Life is a philosophy podcast by some guys who were at one point set on doing philosophy for a living but then thought better of it. Each episode, we pick a short text and chat about it with some balance between insight and flippancy. You don't have to know any philosophy, or even to have read the text we're talking about to (mostly) follow and (hopefully) enjoy the discussion. Very enjoyable... and you might learn something

A philosophy podcast that, from promising beginnings, is really starting to hit its stride. Mark, Wes and Seth offer a great mix of presentation styles; three guys you'd enjoy having a few beers with. Links to the readings discussed are posted on the website allowing those who have not encountered them before a great means by which to really engage with the discussion. If, like me, you have no formal experience of philosophy you will probably get a great deal from this. Not light fare by any means, but accessible nonetheless.

partial review

An entertaining introduction to philosophy. Can be hilarious and erudite in the same fact within the same sentence. This is for beginners and is heavy enough to challenge the beginner and occasionally too dense to comprehend without further reading (strikes about the right balance). Basically three guys jawing off about a subject they love: arguing and straying into unexpected and hilarious rabbit holes. Criticism: a little unstructured. Strengths: funny, learned and unstructured.

My name is Commander Shepard and this is my favorite podcast on the iTunes store.

All memes asside, I really enjoy listening to these three guys (and the occasional guest) discuss and rant on about whatever the topic is for any given episode. Its almost always entertaining and interesting, and really helps to further my understanding of Western thought throughout the last couple thousand years. Keep doing what your doing! Highly recommended.
