Refreshing relationship-centred health and safety approach

Hey Andrew, I'm a Workplace Health professional and my husband Paul is a HSE Advisor. Together we've thoroughly enjoyed soaking up your knowledge, approach and humour around health and safety. Shamelessly we've listen to ALL of your Podcasts. We've both enjoyed your thoughts around industry trends and relationship-centred behaviour change. Thanks for stepping out as a thought leader - keep up the great work! In Health Sally McMahon

The apple hasn’t fallen too far from the tree in this high quality, professional podcast about WHS leadership in a complex, real and ever-changing workplace. In this 2 part episode Andrew interviews his Dad Barry (who seems as personable, intelligent and as forward thinking as Andrew) and together they weave the health and safety imperative by way of case study (around the Marrickville Shire Council Merger into Inner West) into there discussion. At times a little too personal and intimate, I learnt about the importance of leaders needing to be authentic, resilient and of speaking the language of the ‘people’ (not safety speak) in promoting employee welfare. Another great episode Andrew - and yes I enjoyed the 2 part series!
