This podcast has been the first source of detailed information on this topic that I have accessed. It therefore has been very assuring to hear, thank you.
Like yourselves I have questioned my mental health many times which was sadly reinforced to my detriment by some friends and family. It has been very lonely sometimes. I am however trying to turn everything around so that I too can accept it as a gift rather than a handicap. I am also motivated to assist my middle child and many students (I'm a teacher, secondary Visual Art) whom I'm fairly confident are HSP as well.
As a result of hearing this podcast I believe I may have gained the confidence to raise this issue with a professional counsellor. I live in Melbourne too and am hoping to find one who understands this condition.
I would have liked to rate this podcast 5 stars however the sound quality was a fairly significant issue for me. Ironically the fluctuations of volume and pitch as well as the tinny echo and occasional word dropping out almost made me switch off. Once again I blamed myself for being "too highly strung"! But I'm sure this can be fixed. Please please please fix it... but also please keep up the good work in promoting awareness and providing strategies for the 20%. Thank you 🙏
Thankyou for making those who feel this world very much not feel batty 😳 there's no magic pill or potion nature & simple living has helped me immensely and now your pods cast! Many thanks
Such an important topic
Thank you for your great new podcast! You are describing me, but I had never heard of a highly sensitive person. I am so grateful to find others who feel this and can share this journey. Please keep up the great work!
There are some kinks in your audio quality that I'm sure you will fix with practice. More importantly your content is very valuable. I can't wait to hear more.
