Favourite film podcast

An excellent podcast about movies new and old - I really like the mix of films covered, and Tim and Anna are entertaining AND informed. Not at all pompous. Even if I decide not to watch a film based on their reviews, I feel I can pretend I have at parties. I even enjoy the incidental music! (Minor quibble: could do with more Russell Crowe).

best movie podcast ever

This podcast rules! Anna and Tim have an easygoing banter that is a pleasure to listen to. They discuss a good mixed bunch of movies and I would have watched all their recommendations by now if I hadn't been so busy listening to this podcast on repeat. And Tim's musical interludes are hilarious - it's worth tuning into for those alone!

Fast becoming a favourite

In the short space of ten episodes, this has become one of my favourite podcasts. I enjoy the wide variety of films discussed, and the conversations are always lively and entertaining.

The thing I really love is the combination of humour and critical insight: Annd and Tim don't take themselves too seriously, and are often very funny, but they are serious about the business of criticism. It's clear that a lot of preparation goes into each episode - this is not just off-the-cuff blathering.

The sound production is improving, and the musical interludes are entertaining and help break up the show. All in all, this is a tight, well-made and enjoyable podcast.
