Voted “Favorite Political Podcast” by iTunes listeners. Stephen Colbert says "Everybody should listen to the Slate Political Gabfest." The Gabfest, featuring Slate's Emily Bazelon, John Dickerson, and David Plotz, is the kind of informal and irreverent discussion Washington journalists have after hours over drinks. Part of the Panoply Network.

Must listen

I listen to this podcast religiously. Good topics and back-and-forth. Doesn't quite have the nerdy-political-junkie feel of It's All Politics, but they reference TV shows that came out after 1955, so it's a balance.

Good stuff

Political gabfest is good for Aussies who want a general recap of what's going on in US politics, with amusing opinions thrown in.

Great way to keep up with American politics with lots of extra interesting tidbits thrown in. These guys are woefully out of their depth when they try to talk about anything that happens outside of US borders though!
