A wonderful ramble through the delights of analogue photography

Working with digital images for a living, the appeal an analogue alternative has been something I've been looking at for some time, so at the start of 2017, I decided it was time to get a film camera.

But where do you start? How do I fill in the knowledge gaps...? Is there much of a film community...? Enter the Sunny16Podcast - where Ade and Graeme are your friendly, inquisative and (often deceptively) knowledgeable guides into the world of celluloid.

The show is a mix of discussion around photographic techniques, news and updates on both new and well established products, input and interviews with guest artists and photographers; along with plenty of good humoured banter and tons of ideas for projects and assignments.

In a time when film photography is often seen to be a fashion statment for would-be hipsters, the Sunny16Podcast is an unpretentious and welcoming window into a community of film lovers, who take analogue pictures because it's so much fun!!

Keep up the great work guys.

A Gem of a podcast about film photography

...And then there were three.. This was already a great podcast with intelligent banter between two keen amateur photographers as they explore and educate the audience and themselves about film photography. However, a professional photographic artist has joined the team and she has rasied the standard even higher. If you like film photograhy or are curious this podcast is a must listen

Analog Gold

Only up to Ep 20 (afte a week of listening) and very much looking fowards to the next 80 odd. Ade and Graham click from the start and their rapport is obvious. There is a cheeky humour and quick, dry, British wit. Surprisingly good production and I suspect they have thrown in faux amateurism just to make the listeners more comfortable that they aren't just gods of the podcasting medium. For those interested in film photography it's both entertaning and informative.
