In the sleepy town of Brooks, Georgia lies a small farm with a mission. Hosted by Brian Tant, the BubbaTanicals Podcast seeks to inform and entertain. It leaves no stone unturned on the subject of operating a small farm and homestead. Nothing is taboo when it comes to Brian's irreverent narrative on nearly everything from crafts to chickens, fencing to farmers markets, gardening to goats, horses to home remedies, beekeeping, and everything in between.

What it's all about - A genuine look at a hobby farmer's projects.

This podcast is just fun to listen to. The podcaster discusses his "hobby farm" in the US and all the things he's doing with it. Topics discussed so far: > Chickens - How to get started, what's involved in having a hobby sized flock (about a dozen). > Goats - Seems the podcaster is basically still dabbling with some goats on loan. > Honey Bees - It sounds like this is the most serious of the farm's operations. > Other Topics - Sounds like soap making, candle making and other small industries and hobbies are going on. Maybe these will be touched on at some point. On a general note, this is the kind of podcast that puts 'new' in new media. It's long tail. It's personal. You get a real feel for this person's life and lifestyle. It should be interesting to anyone that would like to know what this lifestyle is like. Other hobby farmers or even commercial farmers wondering about upstarts that are likely to have turned up in their vicinity would probably enjoy it too. If you think you might ever want a hobby farm, this podcast is definitely for you.
