Description

Set in New York City, “Day Eight” unfolds amidst the shadows of the Statue of Liberty and the United Nations. Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) is unwillingly drawn back into the intense action after learning of a plot to assassinate determined Middle Eastern peace-keeping leader Omar Hassan (Anil Kapoor) as he negotiates international security with President Taylor (Cherry Jones) and new chief of staff Rob Weiss (Chris Diamantopoulos). Meanwhile, Renee Walker (Annie Wersching) and Chloe O’Brian (Mary Lynn Rajskub) return alongside CTU newcomers Dana Walsh (Katee Sackhoff), Arlo Glass (John Boyd), Brian Hastings (Mykelti Williamson), and Cole Ortiz (Freddie Prinze Jr.). Season 8 of 24 promises to combine the show’s unique and trend-setting format with compelling new elements, including a new setting, new threats, and new cast members. Each episode will again cover one hour of real time as viewers follow Jack Bauer through another astonishing day.

Your joking right?

A great show but the price is way to much. The US store sells it for heaps less. Stop riping us aussies off!

Always loved this Show

This show has always been pretty solid and a great ride. Hard to hold a concept like this for 8 seasons without it becoming pretty tired. Admittedly the last couple of seasons have struggled but, so far so good with season 8. I found this season has seen the show revitalise it's core ability to make you feel uncomfortable yet still have you glued to the screen. It also seems nastier, once again returning an element of 24 that made it so good.

If this is to be the last season as suggested i'm praying it stays this good. Political correctness can take a hike. Let jack off his leash one last time...

Worth Every Penny

Amazing season so far, plenty of new twists and turns, that continually beat the previous seasons. All new, CTU is back, Jack is back with Chloe and Kim is also back. It is abit expensive, but definetely worth every cent!
