As Australia faces internal and external threats to its way of life so too do the people of Inverness, and previous alliances and relationships are tested. In the brand new season Sarah's dilemma between her feelings for George and her duty to her husband Rene, is exacerbated by a heart breaking secret. James and Olivia’s relationship is under pressure by the desire of physical fulfilment, while the true parentage of baby George is threatened with exposure. Elizabeth Bligh’s decision to leave Ash Park to explore a life of her own proves more difficult than she thought. The difference between the fairy tale romance of Anna and Gino and the reality of married life threatens to tear them apart.

|3||HDVideoSomewhere Beyond the Sea||Sarah is in Sydney, on a quest to find a doctor who will terminate her pregnancy. It's emotionally draining, not only trying to differentiate over the phone between 'backyard' operators and medical practitioners, but she's on tenterhooks keeping the truth from Aunt Peg. Peg eventually guesses that Sarah is pregnant, but is not at all prepared for the news that the baby is George's - Sarah has sinned in having sex before marriage. Sarah cannot keep the truth of her quest from Peg, and does her best to explain why she can't keep the baby. She is in such a state as she leaves, and takes the wrong door, crossing paths with Nancy, and her terrified young daughter, Linda.
